I am a huge documentary and film buff. They have become a key part of my digging and research process. Especially when it comes to hip hop. If you are looking for a hip hop film that will inspire you, then be sure to check out THE HIP HOP PROJECT. I've been waiting for years it seems for this indy film to finish its festival tour so it can be released on DVD. I pre-ordered it and a few weeks later it landed on my doorstep. Let me just say....it was well worth the wait. This film has already changed my entire angle on how Im going to approach my goals for 2010. Buy this film or put it on the top of your Netflix or blockbuster.com queue. Stay tuned every thursday on The Speakeasy and you will begin to see just how much I've been inspired by this film.
